Almond Macaroons

1 ½ cups ground almonds
7 egg whites
3 cups icing sugar
1 tsp baking powder

Beat egg whites and icing sugar for at least 15 minutes – until very stiff.
Fold in baking powder and ground almonds. Drop by teaspoon on baking paper.
Bake in slow oven 250⁰ approx. 20 – 25 mins.
