
¼ cup butter
¼ cup sugar
2 cups fine bread crumbs
In a frying pan, melt butter completely before adding crumbs. Stir crumbs thoroughly into the melted butter (no lumps) before adding sugar. Stir constantly until crumb mixture is toasted and golden brown in color.
Be careful not to burn. Store in plastic bags. Can be frozen for many months and used as required for Æblekage.
